Nice one mate and I'm really pleased you got it all sorted at no cost 8) .
As for worrying about whether it will all be okay now well that's normal as you will find a few like that on here especially me as I'm never happy until the repair has gone at least 12 months without issue :shock:  :lol: .

Well had her back for almost a month now, water level has not moved, temp is good so fingers crossed all good, on a down note had to have the drive shaft oil seals replaced as they was leaking gearbox oil, on removal inner seal was thinner than the new one so looks like a mod on fords part

Sounds good mate except for the oil seals as that sounds like ford cutting costs tut tut! .

Think i read somewhere that this is a known fault, but can not remember where.

Sounds like you need to get underneath mate for a better look and if theirs much of it covering the drive shaft then clean it off best u can and recheck after a bit of a drive to see where it's coming from .
