Well after a few hours of wriggling on the floor underneath the focus I have now fitted an uprated rear anti roll bar. Couple of things to note the pictures in the Haynes manual do not relate to the rear of my car whatsoever, even though it's for focus of my year. If anyone else whishes to carry out this task, you will need 13mm socket for bolts which hold the bushes in place. To remove the tie rods/links which are small double ball jointed things. You need an 18mm ring spanner although I did get away with a 19. Also an 8mm socket to stop the joint from moving. The top ball joint us 15mm ring spanner and an Allen key to stop it revolving. Note when fixing the new one check the tie rods actually fit in the holes before putting it on. I had to open the holes out to make them fit. And if you have access to car ramps it will make the job easier.
