Thinking of getting these for my 2013 focus

But it says red wire to poss black to neg but which poss if I put them direct to battery surely the lights will be on all the time.

Perhaps you might have to put an independent switch in or wire them into the fuse box like a dashcam to come on
when ignition is on.

That’s what I was thinking. I also wondered about the control box it comes with ?? All black magic to me.

I’d say the red wire is to the Ignition Pos, that way they will only come on when the keys are in.

You also need to wire them in to dim when your sidelights are turned on though. Not sure if it is an MOT requirement now so don’t quote me, otherwise they will be too bright and dazzle other users.

You need to piggy back off one of the fuses in the engine bay.

Thanks for your help I have found some with only poss and meg wires and some with up to 4 wires so will go for one of them as they mention dimming.
