I have a dead Focus MkIII 2015 radio head unit - I can find a similar replacement unit on Ebay, but not my exact part number, which is Finis 2335493 or F1BT-18C815-HR - all the units I have found have the two characters at the end different e.g. -HH, -HK. Is this critical to get the exact HR suffix? Mine has BT, DAB, MP3, Sync and Voice control and I don't want to lose any of this.

The display is not completely dead, it still shows the time, miles, phone connection, but the radio does not come on at all, I just get a "blue flash" when I press the power button, and none of the steering wheel controls work.

As long as it's the same model it shouldn't be an issue as I fitted a 6000e multidisc series model to my mk1 instead of the original standard 6000 single disc head unit .

Is their a 10 amp fuse fitted to the rear of your head unit and if so have you checked it to see if it has blown .
