Hi guys

I have a Mk3 ST3 with the standard red ambient lighting. Has anybody tackled/looked into retrofitting the colour changing ambient lighting from the Titanium X? I know it involves changing all of the LEDs, wiring and fitting the controls, what I'm trying to find out is if anything else is involved and how big a job it might be.

Any help appreciated!

It's just a case of soldering in some correctly rated different colour LEDs I'm looking at doing this on my CC

I was more looking to retrofit the whole colour changing kit rather than just change the bulbs. If you change the bulbs to any colour other than red you make your car technically an MoT failure, as a colour other than red will be showing towards the rear of the car with the lights on and doors open. The colour changing system fixes it to red when you open the doors and it's why the single colour system is red.

I'm sure someone already asked about this, might not have been on here but it was going to be very expensive to retrofit it!

That's the one! Over £200 for a few LEDs :P

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure these are classed as interior lights so not tested on an MOT?

Don't know to be perfectly honest, but I know it's the reason why the colour changing ones fix to red when the doors are opened.
