Hi All,

I've just noticed today that I seem to have the beginnings of a rust spot appearing.

This is just above the tailgate handle trim, is there a way to prevent this from spreading?

Thanks

Jason

You could use a rust inhibitor such as kurust but all you're going to do is slow it down, sadly tinworm is incurable unless you completely cut the rust out and weld new metal back in :(

Thanks Russ, that's what I was afraid of.

I'm hoping to get a better look at it in the few days and get some polish on it as hoping it's just discoloured paint (trying to think positive)

Well I was very impatient this morning so got some AG Polish out and worked on it.....the discolouration seems to have gone but there are bubbles so it speak underneath the paint work but hopefully nothing to worry about just yet
