think me turbos starting to go go a right whistling under acceleration just wondering if a 2004 turbo would fit on my 2005 I know the body changed in 05 but I don't know about the engine cheers

Have you checked all the pipes/hoses as I had a little whistling coming from the area of the turbo and turned out to be a lose jubilee clip....quick tighten and all good now (fingers crossed :) )

well checked every pipe today cant see any loose clips holes nothing.took the thick intercooler pipe off just to make sure and there was a little oil in it is this alright or should it be dry im guessing

The Intercooler pipe can have a little oil in it so wouldn't worry about it.

Don't know what else to suggest for your whistling.

Someone said it could be the alternator might get it checked out

I had this recently. One of the intercooler flexi pipes had a split under the metal ring. Replaced and problem solved. Worth a look .
