As the title says, my car has developed a new whistling sound at around 2000 rpm, I haven't noticed any loss in power so I'm not sure what it could be? Anyone know which hoses I shpuld check for splits etc?

The big one that goes across the top of the engine to the intercooler is the usual suspect, it splits underneath though

Cheers I'll have a look. Is it safe to run as it is for a day or so as I'm currently 160 miles from home

It's about £60 from Fords they keep them in stock as they split a lot!

I had this fault when i bought my car.

I'll dig out the photos and receipt for the pipe from Ford.

Not expensive at all and an easy fix :D
