Just under £100

I have just had the C-Max back from the dealers. Looks better under the bonnet with a new crossmember.
-
this crossmember is plastic covered steel.try a magnet on it! this is quite thick rust and would not just wipe off. it would need a bit of action with an abrasive to get this off.

if i knew how to attatch a picture i would have done. have i got access to do this. if not can i e mail it to someone
-

the other week I was checking my power steering fluid and noticed that the crossmember unde the headlights was corroding. i put a claim in to ford warranty and they rejected it. then i got onto ford and complained after a lot of fuss they have agreed to pay for 70% of the repair costs. my dealer does not think this is good enough. the car is 3 years old in december. any suggestions
