  1. That looks rather cool Tony - Now i'm getting all excited
  2. I thought all new Focus's had MP3 capability? Which unit have you got??
  3. The 'Edge' trim has replaced the Mondeo 'LX' trim, so it's highly likely that they may use the 'Style' name to replace the 'LX' on the Focus? I wouldn't be surprised - watch this space...
  4. Eh up IVOV - I thought you'd done a runner -  I thought you did a runner Garck not seen you around for a while LOL - My pc went belly up so I've not been online since the world was black and white. Good to be back tho. So whats new then matey - hows the ST??
  5. Thanks mate - That gives me a great excuse for never washing my car again
  6. What's causing my rear brake shoes to stick on after I've left the car parked up for over an hour? I have to 'rock' the car by using 1st and reverse gears to release the brakes. The car has recently been serviced and the dealer confirmed that the condition of the shoes and drums is fine. Is it a common problem? Any ideas how I can avoid it etc? Cheers all... :?: :?:
  7. Both my front headlight mist up, so I'll get them checked under warranty during the next service
  8. Hiya Craig mate - I think RednRacey might mean the front fog lights?? 8)
  9. LOL  - Not sure why? My guess would be that it's like watching your gums bleed after poking them with your toothbrush - It's an early warning sign that all is not well, and all your teeth could fall out the next time your eat a crusty french stick
  10. I had an issue with my Ti-VCT in that it would intermittently miss fire for a split-second whilst travelling at motorway speeds, then it would be fine for a few days before doing it again. Also, the speedo needle would drop from 70mph to 30mph, then back again, even tho the car never slowed down when it happened. I took it to my dealer who re-mapped the engine management thingy wotsit, and it's been as sweet as a vicars collar ever since!
  11. I've seen the ST dials pod on fleebay for around £25, but I'll bet it's a DIY nightmare to wire in. Plus you risk knackering your dash top when you cut in to it. Good luck if you go ahead! It would be great to know if it can be done tho???
  12. The early MK2's (ie 05 models) have a slightly different windscreen to the later MK2's. The 55/06/56 model windscreen has a larger black shaded area behind the rear view mirror. If your car is an early model, simply ask them to fit the newer windscreen. Autoglass did it for me without any problems, and it helps to cut down on annoying sun glare
  13. Eh up IVOV - I thought you'd done a runner -
  14. The red light comes on at the same time as the flames shoot out of your bonnet, and the smoke bellows out of your exhaust. It's a warning light to tell you that your engine has just been thrashed to within 1mm of it's life, and your car is almost ready for a trip through the pearly gates!
