Hi i've got a 2.0 TDCI cmax and mines not got esp but it could do with it especially in the wet,it should be fitted as standard to all cars these days

I have a 05 cmax Ultima,when its been raining or i've just washed the car,soon as you drive off its sounds like a knocking noise on the suspension at the front,had it back to Fords and they put new bushes on the steering somewhere but its back again.Has anyone else had this noise or problem?
