Hi mate, This happends so so so often now. A lot of dealers tell you to replace the engine. However what the RAC have done to remove the petrol then fill it with diesel and its still running fine then don't worry about it. As long as the car is acting and driving like it did before then you don't have a problem when it goes in for warrantly work, Just don't tell them  A friend did that on a BM 330d and his has now covered 30k since and its running like a dream, also the dealers tried charging him 10k for a new engine. He had it all flushed out and it cost a grand total of £150 -
At last, mk2 bonnet lifters are available!
Ronnie replied to a topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Wrong mark 2. Thats the american mk2 Focus thats not the same as ours :? -
WOW that really is a big problem, hope you get it sorted very soon.

I am not sure of the current discounts, call a few dealers local to you and find out what they are offering. I have a contact at Dovercourt whom is excellent if you are out essex way. :D
-
   Daz, Get in the car and take it stright to the dealers, it's either haunted or got a major issue. You may have to leave it with them for a bit but it does sound like a big problem.
-
What about Tezza ? He will be able to get you a genuine one. Or ebay for a cheapy.
-
Just checked doesnt seem to be there either... I am sure that someone else here might have a reply.

Is the one touch just the switch or is there something else I might need?
