    In my Focus RS.
  1. I went in to the local Ford's to pick up some parts, the lad was busy on the phone so i was just nosing at the cars in the showroom when the new "salesman" asked if he could help me. My reply was "not unless you've got a 300bhp 4wd Focus RS out back" His reply was "hold on while I check the stock list"  He then asked if I had a trade-in, so I said "yeah that Focus" pointing to my FRS. He went out and had a look asked what age it was (private plate) told him an 03. He then asked what model it was adding is it a 1.8 with a bodykit?  He said this within earshot
  2. http://www.torquesteer.co.uk/store/deta ... 0f0e307053 Lexus ones available as well. http://www.torquesteer.co.uk/store/deta ... ce5d2cfb6f
  3. Well I checked up on mine last week and the build and delivery dates had dissapeared. So I've cancelled the order. Not prepared to wait even longer for the car. Going in tomorrow to do the paperwork on a Fiesta ST that is in stock and will be mine on the 1st March. Mike
  4. Well my update is there is now no build date against my car!             Mike
  5. Yes the Bluetooth is the reason for the latest delay apparantly!
  6. The ST is built on the normal Focus production line with just the odd detour off into a bay to add any special bits before going back onto the line to come off at the end fully built. The RS was partially built on the production line at Saarlouis then transported to Uberhaven for completion away from the production line so I would say there was more to building the RS than a ST. As for the dealer giving me the runaround I don't think so the system was showing a Jan build from order, this was updated to 20th Jan at the beginning of the month, a 4th Feb delivery date is still showing on the syst
  7. Well I HAD a Jan 20th build date but apparantly this was removed yesterday and now there isn't a build date! At this rate it'll be March when i get the car I ordered in September! Didn't mind when it was the RS but not for a ****ing ST!!!  Very tempted if it is going to be March or later to just tell Ford to go and shove their car!
  8. www.torquesteer.co.uk Some mods already available, more to come as soon as we get the car to play with. Mike
  9. That is just down to the flash being used for the photo. They do look different in natural light. i'll try and get some pics of mine in the New Year.
  10. I know they are a bit pricey but they are custom made and are not available anywhere else. As for the quality, trust me they are top quality I have had a set in my FRS for nearly 3 years and 25000 miles now and they are still like new. Also the Ford ones are front only and don't as far as I know have a choice of colours. LHD will also be available to order in the New Year.
  11. The new front and rear floor mats for the Focus ST are now available to order from http://www.torquesteer.co.uk/store/deta ... 51df884900 Available with a choice of edging colours including Orange. Mike
  12. January build. February delivery Name: Mike Model: ST3 3Dr - DEATC, Full stripe kit, Solar screen, Bluetooth kit Colour: Diamond White Old Car: Ka Keeping the Focus RS for sunny days 8)
  13. http://www.focusst.net/Gallery.htm If you see any you like PM me your e-mail and I'll send the original Hi-res if it's available. Mike
  14. Only supposed to be one. I've ordered an extra one at £82!  Apparantly they are over £100 + programming over the parts counter!
  15. The Head unit on the ST2/3 has an AUX jack in the glovebox. You can then plug your MP3 into that. This is also available if you spec the Sat Nav. If you spec the Bluetooth kit then voice control is available and can be used to control the stereo and should in some cases also control an MP3 player connected to the Stereo by voice control. So if you stick with the MP3 compatible head unit from the ST2 and add an MP3 device into the glovebox you should have plenty of storage capacity there.
