Dont want to be negative, byt did you check for accident damage before you bought it? Could of been repaired by a non ford garage and ordered the wrong parts....maybe??

have a look inside the drivers door frame, full pressure listings are on a sticker just below the catch i would look for you but its still bloody raining and im not going to get wet!!!

OK I have a 3dr Zetec Clinate and there is no centre read head restraint. Checked the brochure I had when I got mine from last year, it states it is fitted on the 5dr as standard (all variants), and only fitted to the Titanium as standard on the 3dr. It is not available as an optional extra. Hope that helps

Nah, apart from the noise everything appeared OK. I would suggest getting it booked in and leaving it with them for the day if you can, to give a good going over. I always make sure that it will be on warranty when I phone them (which I do from work on a recorded phone line! LOL), so I can hold them to it!

Just thought you'd all like to know about a potential problem. For a couple of weeks now had a "humming" type noise come from the front of the car when well its turn slightly to the left. So, booked it in today, went out for a test run with the technician this morning, diagnosed immediately front hub bearing failure on the nearside. They done the work straight away and replaced both front bearings under warranty. All seems OK now. My car is MKII Zetec Climate 3Dr 6 months old and has 4000 miles on the clock. You are unlikely to get the same kit anywhere else cheaper than that i'd of though, although there are other kits around...have a look through the 2005 focus section you will find it in here! I actually got an ms design brochure form the dealer today and the prices are identical tot hat site

Guess they are easy to fit, they just unscrew as far as i know. Not sure if you can get them online but easy to get from the ford dealer, the finis code is in the ask tezza section!

The footrest is not im mine Zetec Climate. Would be interested in that though, there isn't much room to put ur foot to the side of the clutch pedal, any chance of a picture someone?? Might as tezza for a part number for this.

square_eys, Oh PS...took 2 months to get my manual so dont hold your breath!

I'd suggest the dealer for this one. The system should be setup when you collect the car, really shouldn't be any setup required once it's plugged in, apart from your personal settings such as bass/treble etc. There is certainly nothing in the manual about this. Pop in tomorrow and ask one of the sales staff (A MANAGER!), they might have an idea whats up if they don't the should be able to follow it up with service dept on Tuesday, after Bank Hols.

Just had a look through the manual couldnt see it, but could be hidden away somewhere. You can programme the key though just to (with one click) unluck the driver side door, and two clicks to open all the other doors.
