The 130 Tdci will eat the 1.6 Vcti for breakfast and will return better mpg. If you want half decent performance get the 1.6 TDCi it still won't be as quick as the Monde but will be better than the 1.6VCTi

You should be able to change between mpg/km per litre. On the old Focus it was the case of pushing a button. Does the manual say anything ?

Euro 4 diesels are hard to get but there are no problems with euro 3 cars. We have 3 new Focus 1.6TDCis on the road.

White smoke is usually associated with one of two things..... Headgasket Failure Turbo Failure. I'd get down to fords and get it sorted asap. If it is the turbo then the turbine could disintergrate and take the engine with it.

1/ is normal, they all seem to do that. 2/I had a Zetec Vcti at the weekend and that would only give average not instant - having said that instant is a waste of time.

Tis true, thats why I have a metro blue Ghia.....its all they had :lol: If you can find a dealer that has a car on order for stock they could change the spec and get it to you on time. My dealer has a sport on order that he can change to a fully specced Ghia

The problem you will have is that the car has to be built and registered by the end of June. A fully loaded estate would probably be 12 weeks so you could not guarentee you would get 0%. Min deposite would probably be around 30 %. I've just specced up a hatch and if I was to order today it would be built on the 7th and with me in June :D Spec something up on drive the deal to get an idea of discount :D

The Auto is only available on the low spec 1.6 and Ford are not taking any orders at the minute. I've just had a 1.6 VCt as a hire car and if you can live with no torque then its a great little engine. Regular 1.6 drivers will love it. It averaged 36mpg in my hands on a 400 mile trip. 4 up with a full boot sitting just bove the legal limit and being thrashed within an inch of its life.

yeah but the Ford one looks great and has a much bigger screen and control a mobile phone. Shame it won't cook me tea :lol:

good spec there, I'd leave out the leather and go for the DVD navigation

With Ford how long does the 0% run for ? I presume its like the 0% I have on the Focus and that it has to be registered by a certain day ? A good way to clear out stock I suppose :lol: I'm now seriously tempted with the new Focus now it has zero % especialy after the 1/2 day I have had with the 1.6 VCt courtesy of Enterprise. ohhhhh TCH. They ain't too bad the last batch of cars we had from them came through on time. We had a car down for gate release mid April, it turned up at the dealer within a week.

and theres me just speccing our new focis with the Sony MP3 player :D we also making suree they get the travel pack or dog guards to keep there stuff in the boot. Have a word with your fleet manager speccing low trim cars is false economy.

PreRegistered cars are usualy imports, they have to be registered by law within so many days of hiting the UK. With drivethedeal you are the first owner.
