  2. ....... Many .... Many .... Many .... Many ........ Many .......................... Thanks ;) ......:multi: It looks really good ..... 2 questions: 1) Does it play MP3 (and display it's names) ? 2) How is the sound setup: 4speaker/8speaker ... Good quality/just average ? Thanks once again ...... I think I'll go with the Satnav. ;)
  3. Can anyone help .... ?!?!
  4. What kind of information (like trip computer, A/C info., Radio info) does the NavSat screen display ?..... jayst220:could you post some pictures please ?!?! ...:. I'm thinking about going for the Sat Nav myself. ;)
  5. ST ..... you can always drive it like a 1.6 ......
  6. Thats what I meant ...... Thanks for your help .... Cheers !! ;)
  7. hummm ..... thanks ...... ;) Just one other question: is EBA (Electronic Brake Assistance) standard (not EBD -> Electronic Brake Distribution).... ? Cheers !!
  8. The tech specs that ford gave for the ST225 (press kit) sugest that the MK70 is a ESP solution that is avaiable as an opion for the UK only .... MK60 comes as standard for all other "LHD" markets... So do you that's why I've become confused !
  9. Does anyone one kown why the ST225 comes with Conti Teves Mk 70 ESP for the UK and the Mk 60 (as standard) for all other european markets ? Is there any difference (other than the name ..... ;)) ? Does the same happen for other MKII Focus versions ?!? Cheers !!
  10. They went that way for comercial issus (TDI is very strong brand) and because the Le Mans series regultaions actually encourage Turbo-Diesel engines (for now), has they only keep in mind power output regulations. I'll say again ..... let's see how Porche's new contender (Petrol) will do !!!
  11. Not in normal everyday driving, you're not. More torque equals less gear changes. Pull away in 2nd gear, dump it in 5th when you hit 30 and it won't grumble, unlike a petrol! Easier to drive over long distances as you're not constantly up and down the gearbox like you would be in a petrol engined motor. I think he meant if you want to move ..... (ok so that was unfair ;) )..... You're right ..... but thats on an economical drive ..... if you need a bit more speed or just to be a bit more flexible than the petrol will have about 2000-2500 more rpms were it will give it's best. I
  12. ...... my point: you can't really give a diesel a good thrashing. period. ...... but I'm sure you can drive it ...... and find a way to have fun (please tell me when you do). ;)
  13. That I reckon, was a great win for Audi .... But you don't have an engine like that on a road car ..... And they do have regulation advantages (that won't last long) .... let's see how they compare to Porche's petrol car in the Le-Mans 24 hours.... with all those gear-changes and high-revs.... ;) So a diesel Audi as won a race and so has a diesel BMW (touring car champ.)...... whooooohoooo ..... let's all go diesel... ..... Put that 5.5L Twin Turbo Diesel from audi against Koenigsegg CCX's 4.4 V8 Twin Turbo Petrol ....... that's 800HP & 920Nm torque.... hummm !
  14. :) ..... That tells you more about the man, than it does about the car ..... .... ;) ... or maybe they were on a one-way, single lane road. No problem at all. Diesel cars have evolved more quickly than petrol cars for the last few years. Diesel engines have become more powerfull, more smooth, and much more light........ just what a petrol engine already delivered for years. I can undestand that the low-end torque Diesels deliver help you get a relaxed drive ..... but if wanted that I would just go and buy an Automatic (petrol). I would only buy a Diesel car because of economy/valu
