my old titanium was the 1.6 115 bhp version and i thought the engine in it was crap, was totaly over rated in my opinion. my aa driving school learner car is the 1.6 100 bhp version and i think its much better than the 115.
-
craig, my aa driving school car is the 1.6 100bhp version and its not too bad, not as good as my 2.0 tdci 136 bhp titanium tho. to be honest you will get used to the power loss.

hey ruth your rite its a over flow pipe, dont quote me on this however i think its got something to do with the capless fueling system. my 2.0 tdci titanium has this and also my 1.6 zetec aa driving school car has it too. i just fuel the car now till the first click then leave it because as uv said if you do it till the 2nd click you end up with a pool of petrol or diesel under the car.

the wee metal shield in the filler neck wont open unless the correct fuel nozel is put in it, therefore it wont be a issue, or atleast i hope not!
-
the mk2.5 1.6 tdci is £35 a year the mk2 1.6 tdci isnt £35 the mk2.5 has lower co2 than the mk2
-
the fuel flap doesnt lock and it doesnt have a fuel cap as its fords "capless fuel system" basicaly the wee metal flap on the filler neck wont open unless the correct fuel nosel is put into it. my 08 titanium tdci and my 09 zetec have the same set up. my old mk2 titanium had a lockable flap and fuel cap, tho the mk2.5 doesnt.
