I saw a tonic 3 door ST lookalike not long ago whislt driving through Hetton. I had a 3 door tonic focus and wanted to do the same, i actually bought an ST front bumper, but have since sold the car, and now have a spare front ST bumper. Still, i did like the look of that tonic ST though.

does anyone know how long a vehicle has to be out before haynes jump on the bandwagon and produce a manual for it? i mean its not like the mk2 is unpopular or anything, theres hundreds of them on the road, i find it odd that they haven't done an english one yet.

and wing mirrors :wink: gotta say it looks like some thing from that movie cars i can see a big gasping face :o :lol: the head lights and new upper grill look the muts but realy dont like that big chrome surround on the front bumper Just a guess but i reckon the higher spec models will get this chrome surround, maybe lower spec ones will be black as per the current focus.

thats a nice colour actually, a bit light for aquarius i think, but it ain't half bad, submit it off too ford see if they can sort it out lol. good effort though, i would pay for that colour. has anyone seen the new green focus's? can't say i would have one myself but they are new and will get used to them i suppose.

yeah thats the new mondeos front end is it not? i.e. the lights and grill. a good photoshop attempt though tbh. doesn't look all that bad but still prefer the way it is now

i thought that at first. there was some on ebay for 70 quid each but they were electric fold in mirrors with puddle lights n all which works out cheaper. there is a post about it.

yeah im with you dave on that. Hmmmmm i think my insurance would be through the roof as i'm only 22 if i bought an ST, i doubt making it look like one will go anywhere near that, however i don't think mine will go up as i'm with a german insurance company (i currently live in germany) and they base their premiums on the engine and power of a car as opposed to looks.

i think thats a bit harsh because to own an ST, its gonna cripple your insurance because of the 2.5 engine but everyone, including me wants to better what they have no matter how stupid it is. hence why i want to make my car look like an ST with a slight difference. thats because for me being a 22 yr old, the insurance is stupid. if it was that easy to own an ST don't you think we would have one? and i disagree it being a poor imitation of another car as the ST has a nice look to it, so i want mine to have a similiar look, but not performance wise, whats wrong with that?

i'm confused slightly when you say without indicators. does that mean they are the full shape wing mirrors or they have the hole for the indicators?

well i see a point from both ways however if they come primered now then i can spray them myself as me brother sprays cars and has the right kit so i'm alright when it comes to the painting side, it just makes life easier if the parts are ready to spray if you know what i mean. therefore it makes it cheaper. not that i'm a skin flint :lol: nah my better half thinks that the fact that i have a new car then why should i mess with it (she doesn't drive lol) so i can't go mad when it comes to money hence i watch ebay like a hawk for certain parts.

i'm not taking the michael here but can you buy chrome paint? or anything to make things have that chrome effect? may help look certain dull parts of the interior a little better i.e. the glove box handle for one or door handles etc? stupid question i know but surely it must be possible.
