enjoying the mk2 focus 1.8 TDCI
  1. seank_uk I think is the same with all the focus mate, the book says one thing and to be honest the car will never get even close !! I own a 1.8 TDCI 18000 on the clock, the ford book says 54.2 mpg, i get 44.0 mpg  and believe to get that i have to drive VERY carefully. Chris
  2. Hi everyone Has anyone had issues with this problem ?? When the sun has been out and the dashboard gets warm the rev counter sticks !! The dashboard doesnt have to be really hot just slightly warm, but this is enough to cause the problem. It get to the point where the counter cant read the right revs to match the engine speed, and you can see the needle sticking and jumping trying to read the engine speed it in the end it gives up and normally reads between 0 - 800 rpm As soon as the top of the dash cools down it all works fine again :? Has anyone else had this problem or possib
