  1. Hi All I have the titanium in the above mentioned colour and model but am slowly falling out of love with the standard multispoke alloys it came with. Therefore, i am giving thought to getting some new wheels and would like it if those of you who have a Vision Blue foci to post pics of your car and varying wheel designs. Thanks in advance
  2. Perhaps I'm just getting confused - I'm sure there was a cover though :-)
  3. hmmm, that is very interesting on two fronts #1 - Im pretty certain it had covers on both sides as I raised the question about what the "black buttons" were for #2 - I raised concerns about how I would get into the car should the battery in my remote die - I was told the cover "pops" off to reveal a key hole. Im guessing the second statement is therefore untrue and should the battery die, im stuck until my Mrs can get to me with the spare remote or I get a new battery. Am I right in thinking that keyless entry doesnt come on all Titaniums?
  4. Hi all - still havent posted pics up of my new car - 10 Plate 1.6 Titanium. Will do it shortly (when its clean :-)) I just have a quick question about the covers for the key holes. My car has keyless entry and had covers on both key holes (driver/passenger doors) Now this may be my suspicious mind, but after I took my car into ford to have a tyre change, my cover on the driver side disappeared. See photos below - You can see that the driver door has its cover missing, but I cant see how it would fit as the key hole surround is flush with the main handle. I dont really fancy attempti
  5. Well, picked up the car Friday afternoon and am seriously impressed with it. Fantastic to drive and I love all the cubby holes and gadgets. I was surprised how small the boot space is, but that isnt enough to put me off. Love the keyless entry and start, although keep reaching for the keys before starting and when getting out the car :-)
  6. Pictures will have to wait I'm afraid - pick the car up Friday so will get posting :-)
  7. Well, popped to the local Ford dealer today as been thinking about getting a new car for a while with a number of options in my mind. However, I just spent the past two weeks in New Zealand and drove a 2008 Foci with 95000k miles on the clock and it drove like a dream. Decided Foci was the way forward as had my current Foci for 9 years with the only expense (other than tyres/brakes) being a resistor pack. Just bought a 2010 (reg in May) Blue Foci Titanium 1.6 I like the titanium as it comes with the extras like auto wipers/lights & cruise control This had a few additional extras
  8. Many thanks for all your comments - I have put the car on hold until I get back from my hols (im heading to NZ in 6 days) Will get back from hols and head straight to the dealer, although I appreciate the stock levels may be severely reduced by then - The dealer advised that ford were doing significant deals due to the new Model in March. The car they have at the mo, is unregistered so would come with the 11 plates.
  9. adams0723 - your timing in spot on. Ford phoned me today to say they couldnt get hold of a Zetec S but have a 1.6 Titanium in blue - (light blue, cant remember the name they gave it)
  10. Madden, cheers for your thoughts. I was immediately taken back my its looks. watch this space :-)
  11. So here I am - thinking of getting another Focus and putting my idea of a Seat Leon to the back of my mind. Current economic climate has put to bed the plans for getting a Leon Fr/Cupra. Spotted both a 1.6 & 1.8 Zetec S as my local dealers and love the styling - also like the Titanium for all its bells and whistles. Decisions decisions - any thoughts?
