sorry but if you did not drain the tank you will damage the seals and high pressure fuel pump, petrol take the lub. out of the diesel which lubs the high pressure pump sorry for the bad news :oops:

yes had that is was water in the boot switch i got one from ford £12 they have changed it now to stop water getting in HOPEFULLY :lol:

thanks for that it looks like a trip to dealers to get new switch yes warr. ran out feb and car done 63.000 miles just got car months ago thanks again ian :P

the boot switch has stooped working again how much is a new switch and what sort of job is it to replace it thanks ian :roll:

hi thanks for that just done a 200 mlie round trip on motorway at 80mph trip saying 43.1 mpg in 6th gear is that about right getting about 420miles to the tank if i pull away slowing increasing the revs at 1800 rpm it judders once like turning off the ignition for a slit second also at 2000-2250 revs it shurges on cruise control hope someone alse could tell me it they know the problem many thanls ian

hi i have just got a c max diesel ghia 2.0 when i set the cruise control it surges slightly any one had this happen also when pulling away in first at about 2000 rpm it misses once hope someone could help me thanks ian :?

hi just got a 53 plate c max diesel ghia i would like a new remote 3 button has a spare just in case the other breaks how much are they and can you programme them yourself or is it a trip to a ford dealer thanks ian

i have a fault on the rear window it goes down on one touch but does not go back up on one touch so it stays down when using the key to close the window it it and feb 04 c max diesel ghia hope someone can give me some advise many thanks ian :lol:

hi can you fitted a ford sat nav unit to a c max that is not fitted all ready is the wiring already there and can you buy the aerial to fit please help thanks ian
