  1. Darando, suppose you're right in a small car park. Try going round every car say at Wembley if they don't know what make it is. I suppose don't loose you're keys in the first place. Have a nice weekend m8.
  2. Sometimes it's better not to advertise which car your keys belong to. Then when you drop them in a car park it takes the crooks longer to find which car there for. Just my oppinion guys
  3. Hi All, I find I get a flat spot as well on pulling away in my 1.8 TDCi. You shouldn't have to give it high revs to pull away, as over time you will wear the clutch much sooner. I think the problem should be sorted by Fords, it can be dangerous under surtain conditions.
  4. Hi, Try the site below, they do styling kits. 8) cannondaler, http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/buy-car ... 2_768.html
  5. Thanks Andy, its just don't like to take things apart when I'm not sure. :P
  6. Could someone let me know how to remove the trim from a 2006 C-Max 1.8 TDCi Ghia Its the black plastic trim that has three vents and goes over the wipers and up to the bottom of the windowscreen. As the battery seems to be under it, therefore looks like you have to remove it. Thanks in anticipation. :?
  7. Look like Ford forgot to put them in the manual then  Any chance you could scan in that page and mail it out to those of us who do not have this info please :D Andy Bryant_andy  Let me know your mail address and I'll kindley do that for you
  8. Sorry CJM they must have included the fuse data on later cars, as my hand book shows them all. The only other way is to ask the service people at your Ford dealers.
  9. If you can get hold of a handbook it will be in there. Or go to a library or have a look in a haynes in Halfords.
  10. I have Continental Sport Contact 2 205/55r 16 91v fitted on my 1.8 TDCi C-Max. When I bought it new I used a tread depth gauge on all four wheels, they measured 8mm. I have now done 4437 miles. I have just gone out and done a tread depth again and starting from the inside groove first found this: Front Nearside 7,6,7,7 Front Offside 6,7,7,7 Rear Nearside 7,8,8,7 Rear Offside 7,8,8,7. That works out on average by wearing down to a tread depth of 2mm I would only get 26622 miles out of them. :?
  11. Rob, I was reading somewhere a review on the C-Max and the problem of tyre wear came up. The reporter stated that tyres last longer on the originals. Once replaced they don't last so long, he said for some reason the manufatures tyres last longer. I remember the remark, as I thought so whats different when you buy the same make and they wear quicker. Wish I could remember where I read it. I was also told that tyres can loose pressure si if they are 1lb or 2lbs over you never end up wearing the ouside of the tread. I've only done 4000 in my c-max so I'll let you know how many miles I get
  12. Thanks for your help Nick. I have noticed the green tint, so all must be OK. :o
  13. Hi Nick, Mine has never come on since new, how do you set auto dipping on? Sorry just don't understand how it works M8.
