Jimi, That's a fair point... I'll try and dig out some engine pics and take a look... My c-max has the same engine as the TDCI in the foci i think....

The Pipercross will work on any of the engines as far as i know.

The colder the air is, The better the ignition will be. So the colder the air, The more BHP you will get. The ones with the cold air feed perform best, as they pull the air strait from outside, Not from anywhere near the engine where it gets hotter. Also wrapping it in foil will help lots :) It will be a marginal increase, Nothing to about 15bhp absolute max. But you do get the wonderful roar :wink:

Fit a Pipercross viper kit. In a recent review of top filters with breether kits, It came top with a actual bho increase. Fast Ford says -> it brings in much cooler temps than a panel / cone kit, (By 3-6oC) Under full throttle acceleration (where you want the coldest air) it's around 22oC cooler than a cone and panel filter. (FF issue #298 pages 118->120) :D

tbh with "work" runs your engine probably isn't going to even get warm, so expect low MPG.

Trapping the cable inbetween the glovebox wont do it any harm, As long as it nearly fits and doesn't get bent.

lol stu, I live in the countryside, and mosdt mornings it is foggy and they are useful as some idiots drive down the lanes too fast. I've worked it out, thanks alot Tonic! :D

I've got a c-max through work, How the hell do you turn on the fog lights? I found out how once through fiddling however i was dead tired and can't figure it out now :oops:

Hi, I'm looking into a Remote Start Kit really. or a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm system with remote start. I'd like to keep the Ford fob ideally, but link it so i can unlock it with that ford key + dearm it, as well as the alarm system. So, Ideas?

Are there any foci with black door cards? I might have to get some ST seat's re-upholstered in black / the ST blue... mmmm, black door cards, black roof liner... Black and blue theme... Yum!
