I never knew those things could affect the remote locking sensor! blimey! You learn something new every day. Thanks everyone! (just realised got a 55 plate not a 53 - typical woman ... hasn't got a clue what the reg is!)

It is at my son's day nursery in a residential street so that is very strange and the fact that it only happens on that particular day. Could it be coming from someone else's car? Last week i changed the battery in it as i thought it was that but obviously not. The stupid handbook didn't say to have another battery ready so i took the battery out at 8am and got another at lunchtime and then, of course, the thing had forgotten the frequency so had to take to the garage to get re-done!

I've got a 53 plate Cmax and recently on parking in a certain place at a certain time (once a week) I've found that the remote locking device doesn't work but as soon as I move from that location it works. I visit the location 3 times per week but it is only at 7.45am on a Tuesday that this problem occurs. Has anyone else had this problem? :? Thanks Heidi
