  1. Mines done that a few times. seems time is the only healer, not sure if it is temp related not had time to go to dealer
  2. Do as i did; just start removing bits and it all starts to come apart. The edges of the centre console come off easily, remove blanking cover in footwell and undo the screws as long as you are gentle you won't break anything.
  3. The Little dome in the centre of the dash is the sunlight sensor user by the cliamte control. not sure if this is shared by the auto lights, or if there is a seperate sensor intergrated with the rain sensor above rear view mirror
  4. might be the wing mirrors, they tend to whistle. Check the covers are secured correctly. But i get that whistle sometimes when travelling a tad, well alot actually, quicker than 40
  5. If it's possible to get the PJB re configured, who could do it, would they do it and any idea on cost PS what is a PJB Thanks Matt
  6. so if you got new switch and new door motors that have one touch up and down and fitted them to a three door with one touch down on drivers only, would that work Cheers Matt
  7. Think you need motors, not sure if the wiring looms are the same
  8. What about just converting 3dr front electric windows to one touch up and down and global close. Is that possible and any idea on parts required Cheers Matt
  9. they are PY21W try somewhere like Power Bulbs The bulb holders are orange plastic and you will need to paint them silver otherwise you have an orange ring around a silver bulb. I just used some moondust silver touch up paint
  10. will ask ford for a post it note saying remember to lock your doors cos were too cheap to fit/enable auto locking on your car.
  11. Since it appears the autolocking is not available on the Mk2 focus i tried getting it to just unlock drivers door by holding lock and unlock buttons for 4 seconds. This sort of worked in that passenger door does not unlock until you press unlock twice, but the boot unlocks with the drivers door. It was the boot i was more concerned with since now with the mk2 it can be opened from outside the car, a theif can open the boot while you are in traffic, grab whatever they can and run off leaving you sitting there like a lemon with an open boot. I know i could lock the doors every time i get i
  12. where there is a will there is a way. any ford employees with a bit of spare time fancy looking up parts differences on microcat. this is where TIS would come in handy for the new focus so can check wiring differences. might have to chat with parts guy at dealers and see if he can find prices for motors and switches
  13. aux input is at the front of glovebox at the top, grey socket
  14. I found out it became an option on the ST the week my car was built, so just missed being avle to change it. If anyone can find part numbers, i will be the first to try the upgrade, unless we are talking over £300 in parts Cheers Matt
  15. I test drove a 3Dr ST and that had one touch up and down windows, there was no line under the down arrow for drivers window switch. didn't test for global closing but it deff was one touch on both front windows up and down. The car did have keyless entry mind you, but does that matter. It's naff that you don't get one touch on 3Dr cars as standard, if my ST doesn't come with one touch i will be having words...
