  1. I recently bought a new (pre reg) Ford Focus Zetec and had a few issues from the dealership. Please see the attached letter from myself, the replies from the garage and my subsequent further reply. Any comments welcome, sorry for all the reading. 2. where did you pay £155? sounds expensive. blackcircles do the conti sport 3 fully fitted for £122.
  3. thanks guys, looks like I'll get the torquesteer stuff and give it a go. thanks again.
  4. thanks is that a Ford colour that I can prob pick up from Halfords or such?
  5. Have a small scratch (1 inch) or so on my allo, not very deep, in fact prob barely actually goes through to the alloy, but is noticeable when wheel is clean. Any ideas of the best colour touch up to use on it? Car is a 2007 Zetec. Had thought about getting a smart repairer to spray the affected area but might be cheaper to attempt this myself.
  6. well it's finally off, boy it was tight though, only got it off by having the centre section at the top removed then used wire cutter to cut the moulding in half, once that was done each side just peeled off, new one fitted in no time at all, certainly won't be doing that again in a hurry!
  7. Thanks. :D I'm presuming that if the blanking plates are removed you can poke the cable up past the heating controls and in behind the stereo?
  8. thanks for the help guys, looking forward to pics of beside the switches, that looks like being my preferred location at present.
  9. I'm about to fit a Parrot CK3100 in my Focus, once I order the SOT-092 lead that is. Does anyone have any pictures of their install so I can decide where to mount the display? I was thinking of beside the heated window switches but if anyone can suggest otherwise that would be great.
  10. thanks, was hoping that would be the case, will keep an eye on it over the next month or so just in case.
  11. :x found a small chip (2-3mm max)on leading edge of front passenger door today, have touched it up with touch up paint and is now barely visible, by the time it dries and I smooth it off and lacquer/polish then it will prob be impossible to spot. What I am worried about is as I don't know how long it's been there whether there is any chance of rust setting in! chip was a grey colour which could be through to primer or it could be the metal. Colour is Ocean Blue if this makes any difference.
  12. take it your tabs snapped when you pulled it off then?
  13. thanks looks like i'll enlist another pair of hands, me to push the tabs and someone else to pull the moulding from the outside.
  14. As per this guide I followed the instructions to remove the moulding:- http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=170251 It will not budge however and the clips seem really tight, is there another easier way of getting this part off?
