If I had done that I would just look at the makers details on the bottle give them a ring and follow their instructions.

A couple of shots I took when I fitted my pod lights to a dash that already had a top box. You will notice that it is a very large hole after removing the dash top box surround, or may be after you have cut out around the required new ST pod base unit. The new ST pod lighting surround, refitted ready to fit pod lights, as Jamz suggested, it might be best to decide that you will have no chance of selling a car with a destroyed dash for any more than scrap value.

Thanks for that, that has answered my question and very happy with that, do you have any ideas on the different miles per gallon achieved by TDCI dropping from 55 to 47 mpg when changing up one or two wheel sizes.? I know lowering the ratio of the tyre size is supposed to correct the rolling radius, I wonder if may be not quite bringing it the the exact size could throw out the mileage?

Thanks TDCI, I achieved over 50 MPG on my first tank full going on a long trip holiday trip driving very steady just trying it out, next tank nearer 40 with a more spirited style of driving. I have now done 5000 and it is creeping up to 43 with the same spirited style.

They are different, I have the incorrect set delivered first time, I did take a care full measurement before and after and I believe I only lowered it 15 mm , but as soon as I had a load in the back it looked nice and low just as I wanted.

Has any one looked at what effect the speedo showing 5 mph over sat nav speed might have regarding effect on the miles travelled shown on the car speedo? The mileage could be reading incorrectly and throwing the miles per gallon readings out. I have not done any checks with stated mileage of the sat nav to speedo, but note what TDCI Sno said about changing wheel size. May be mileage might be a lot better than we think or it could be even worse, may be best not to know. Tosscops, I can take no credit for fitting the bumper as the body work man did it, the following advice might assist any one else (I really did not want a one off any way). The bumper comes without any cut outs for the washers but these can be seen with a very faint out line on the inside of the bumper. I could not order a washers fitted bumper at the time, but I did order two washer covers for the very reason that while the bumper was being sprayed at least those parts would match, along with the fact there appeared to be a good chance of breaking them while fitting back on the bumper. James I have just bought a 2.5 focus ST pod for my 2.5 titanium (with no wiring plug or loom), if I do not find a s / hand loom I will just connect straight onto the pins. I only wish to have the lights come on as does Ronaldo, can I be the daft one and ask which pin numbers need the switched 12 v + & which needs 12v - . Can I take it the power needed will be 12 volts Thanks in anticipation.

I ordered my Titanium 2 TDCI estate on 03 -03 -08 and took delivery on 01 -11-08, this was only then after the intervention of a friend of the dealer manager at Ford, other wise god knows when it would have come. A total disregard for any customer care at all by the builder.
