Hmm.. seems a bit bizarre to me. I would sort of understand if this was a prestige model/brand, and there was some sort of exclusivity about the car, whereby vetting the purchaser and/or desired spec would be worth the trouble of the manufacturer. But even then, one person's money is as good as anyone else's.

So you're saying the dealer has told Ford my order came through a broker, and consequently Ford have deliberately stuffed my order down to the bottom of the pile, and I may never even get the car?

The fact that I ordered through Drivethedeal should make no difference, as they act purely as a 'middle-man' - the order goes to Ford directly from the Ford dealership, and I pay the Ford dealership the deposit and balance, etc etc And no, not a diesel.

Ordered a new Focus back in February, via a dealer, via drivethedeal. Estimated date for arrival at dealer was 24 May. This has now been put back to 6 September!! Dealer comments that Ford have several delays to their orders. Is this usual??

Currently shopping, and I'm surprised to find no mention of DAB radio. Is it not yet an option? What would my choices be after buying? Is it easy enough to fit myself?
