Hi All, I have a new ink blue focus zetec, which i have washed 2 or 3 times since i got it. It is covered in small scratches from washing it - i think they will all polish out (it's a company car so have not cried). I bought a brand new brush for it! - which was suppost to be extra soft from Halfords to wash it - i spent ages choosing! I use warm to hot water in a bucket with car shampoo and then hose down with a, well a hose afterwords. I have been washing cars for years without scratching them so i assume its not my washing abilities. Has anyone else noticed this? - is it the pai

The published figures have nothing to do with the real world, i think they are what you would get on a roller simulating the real world - if that makes sense - they come from lab style testing. As i said i was getting 37mpg, even now going about town etc and the daily commute i am getting over 35 mpg which is pretty good i recon. I had a 1.1 Saxo up until Christmas and it only averaged around 40 mpg on they same driving - similar to my little sisters 1.2 Micra (2003 model). If your consumption is that low something must be wrong.

Lee, Are you saying that the sports suspension on the Zetec is different to the optional sports suspension offered on the Titanium? - or am i reading what you wrote wrongly?. I have a Zetec Climate with the 1.6 TI VCT engine, and was just curious! Como

I have the 1.6 TI VCT and the computer and my own calculations recon that it is getting about 37 mpg, i have done 1000 miles in the last two weeks - i recon thats pretty good economy given the amount of time i have spent in contra-flows and sitting in the 10 minute Q's each morning. I did take it fairly easy as instructed, not that i'm a boy racer normally :?

I would agree, i took delivery of my Zetec Climate on Monday, it's a 5 door in ink blue with 17in Alloys, and its such a great car! - i can't post pics as i have no where to host the? But you can take my word for it :D

Stumbled accross this cool site and club when looking to for a picture of a new Focus in Ink Blue! - not found one - has anyone seen one? I'm getting a Focus Zetec 1.6 TI-VCT in Ink Blue with the 17 inch 5 spoke wheels! - and can't wait, as its a company car i've been waiting since November!! - is the fact i'm not the OWNER going to prevent me from joining?
