I phoned them up and he wasn't certain but said that if it isn't an item described as a diesel decat pipe then it probably doesn't. Oh well Sad face :(

Does that decat pipe fit the 2.0 tdci? Will it create any gain? What about the noise? Total newb when it comes to exhausts and nearly anything tbh ;) Thanks for any replies :)

I was considering making a custom surround for a clock and sat nav since atm I have room for neither but having a zetec makes it a little more difficult since you have to cut out the shape our of your dash and buy a storage box :(

I have the same exact problem, I did try looking in my new HU manual its an Alpine 9881 RB I think but couldnt find anything. I have been toying with the idea of putting one where the titaniums have a storage compartment ontop of the dashboard since my zetec just has plastic there :). Power will be quite close too.

Im sure there is a post somewhere on the diesel forum and it said something like if the oil is very runny then it probably has been changed but if its quite thick it hasnt though on such a new car I dont know if that will apply. Yea I got the thing off before seeing this post, and like you said the sealant did squeeze out but I have cleaned most of it up so if it becomes a problem again il do as you say and just replace it. Thanks for the insight :)

Ahhhh yea I didnt think of satnav, thats probably the best way. Thanks mate! It made me think since my dial was always perfect when I was pressing the reset button so I just left it like that. Somone said that the MK2 dials are out 2-3mph anyway? Will see on the sat nav at least. Thanks guys :)

Just changed my dial face on 2.0 TDCi mk2 and I have put the needles back on their spindles and AFAIK they are back to normal but it took quite a bit of fiddling. Using the average speed clock and reseting it whilst doing say 45mph it shows 45mph on my dial and on the average speed clock. Is the "Average speed" clock a reliable way of checking if my dials are aligned correctly, from what is it calculated? Thanks! Gazz

What about other switches like electirc windows, interior alarm turn off, heated switches, manual aircon switches? You know about them too jamz? :D I am currently doing the same as rev but a different colour!

Was driving home last night and the weather was really bad, the rain was very heavy. I felt a drip of water on my hand and the lights above the gearstick had a lot of water around them. I had a quick look and the only place I can think the water is coming from is under the surround for the antenna, which is a bit loose. Anyone had this problem? What sort of sealant can I use that wont damage the paint on removal but will stop moisture ingress? Also how do I remove the light at the top? Do I remove the whole unit or can I just take out the light cluster? Thanks guys any help very much app

I know im bringing up a very old post, but my car is blue and I am thinking red calipers since interior im going for blue with small amounts of red. Outside i have been going for a bit of chrome along with the blue. Its either black, silver or red. Any opinions? Thanks in advance guys :)

what lights are those bigb? sl170 I have bought a set of make your own angel eyes but I havent managed to fit them yet. The set you have there look a bit strange :S but it sounds all good from the description. They probably work fine and look good but yea it would be nice to see them on a car first.
