  1. They bolt in at the bottom, and i used double side tape at the tops... worked a treat
  2. I would have thought so... might seem a tad small though
  3. They are the fiesta zs/st seats, half leather optional extra's. My lass has these in her fez zs
  4. Will reduce the noise a little.... how much did they have to bend the pipes? and do you know what machine they used to bend them? Im asking, as if they bent and closed the pipes, this can restrict perfomance
  5. Im not too sure... the start button workes differetnly, as the key has to be in the ignition and put on posision 2, then you can press the button for the car to start. I know there is a chip in the key for the car, so i think this needs to be in the ignition to allow the car to start
  6. NOOOOO DONT DO IT! You get what you pay for and i wouldnt touch them with a 1000000000ft barge pole
  7. Coilovers are adjustable. you can go lower on coilovers without loosing too much comfort... Say you lowered your car 50mm on coilovers... now if you did the same on springs, the ride would be so hard, you would hate to go over the smallest bump. If you wanted the car the same level (front and back) you can achieve this with coilovers, but springs usually drop the same amount all round (car is always higher at the rear) Its down to personal choice really.... i like knowing i have the ability to raise/lower my car (ive adjusted mine for the speedbumps around my area)
  8. RRP for Eibach ones are £680... i got mine for cost price of £530 (first ever order for the mk2 focus :D ) EddieCorstin, lowering the car wont give you more grip.. id suggest you get some new decent tyres! Lowering the car gives you more grip round corners if you have a decent set of tyres on the car!
  9. There seems to be no difference between them two on the site... two different part numbers, but the same description. May be worth giving them a ring.
  10. I have... eibach one's on mine.. ride is fine.. not too hard and not too soft... grips like mad!
  11. It all depends on what screen wash you use methinks... my mk1 blocked and i know what a pain it is to get it unblocked (take wheel off, wheel arch lining....)
  12. Richy.... If you do a search for Boss High Level on ebay you'll see the converter ive used on all the cars ive done. I cant show you atm, as im at work (cannot get on ebay here) Im sure i posted a howto up on here... or it could have been on SwiftOwners :? Anyway, what it does it splices into your speaker output, which then converts the high level frequency from the speakers to the low leval signal an amp takes (gives you a phono output) then all you do is run your phono's to your amp, and bobs your uncle, you have an output from your standard ford stereo ;)
  13. Aftermarket, but you can still add a sub using the standard stereo ;)
  14. Your car wont start as the imobiliser is part of the cluster ;)
  15. Ronaldo, Yes you use the standard bolts (the st spoiler doesnt come with any other bolts) and yes the screws for the light are the same
  16. If you change the stereo, yes you will get better sound out of the standard speakers... Adding a sub also helps!
  17. Looks like there is quite a bit of plastic under there (clip holes) so pressing the button wouldnt work
  18. The normal speedo is 4mph out anyway, so it'll be more correct with the st dials in.... Best thing to do it get a satnav and see what speed your actually doing, then see what the speedo says...
  19. is this when the car is stood still? Sounds to me if its stud still the fan kicks in and uses a lot of power, which is why the car will shudder as the rev's go close to stalling, but then the idle control valve kicks in and give it a bit more gas
  20. Just cut down some of the straight at the end, and attach that after the cat.. pretty simple job
  21. Uhuh, posted my yours truly! http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... highlight=
