they look great but not sure if i can afford them. the alloys i was going to buy are no longer available in 5 stud...so i do need to look at more alloys.

i haggled a space saver into the price of my focus. when i put it in i think it saved me about 3-4 inch boot hight, very handy. i like to think it lowers the centre of gravity ever so slightly...but then i might just be being stupid. :D

scotia has slowed right down recently. hopefully i keep my job long enough to get the alloys, colour coding and repair the hit and run i was left with. not sure whats after that.

ive decided 18" might be a bit big for me. i do a lot of miles...and they're done on country roads in scotland, the exrta little side wall of the tyres softens the ride a bit doesnt it? and i cant really afford 18".

thanx, had a list of 14 different alloys and thats 1 of the few ive narrowed it down to. i think thats the alloys im gettting so far.

my focus will be lowered 30mm on eibach springs by the time my alloys go on. (incase that changed peoples opinions) any other sugestions? im looking to spend max £600 including tyres. looking for 17"

nice. how much did the colour coding on the boot handle and bumper moulding cost u? do u get the parts primed from ford? im watching some wheels on ebay just now, torn between st wheels and some WolfRace 17s. will post a link later.

was exactly the same for mine and fitted myself also. i found the plug didnt fit for the brake light, so cut the plugs off both bits and twisted the wires together, then wrapped in sparkies tape. 20-30 mins to fit.

i got my focus repaired at a local ford dealer and altho they were all very friendly they still hanvt managed to repair it right. first time i got it back i noticed straight away that the door was badly fitted, the front bumper was miles off, paint on the rear wing was a terrible match,the steering was miles out (steering wheel was even on squint) and that they had chipped 1 of my handles. took it back and got all that sorted...ish. the door still doesnt look right and im convinced its not the right shape. now a few months down the line my car is starting to rust where the paint they put o

mine empies in a week and i only use little squirts at a time to try and make it last. im sure mines only like 3 litres. doesnt last long at all.

spursn17, I thot i had 5 bolts in mine, maybe it is 4. very easy to do. straight swap. if the new light doesnt clip into the existing cable then u just cut the wires and twist them together then wrap in sparky tape. remember to screw the brakelight on before bolting the spoiler onto the car as its a b***h if you forget and have to do it with a stubby driver. takes about 20 mins to do the whole thing.

p5byn, ok u might have a point there. but scotland has a lot of hills and ive got a lot of tools in the boot for work. extra power on the hills would be usefull.
