dunno about on the sony headunits. but on the dvd sat nav headunits, it generates a different pin code every time... otherwise anybody could pair up every time you park up if the code was just 0000

did you have the bvc connector behind the glovebox already? if so artilliarymans instructions do not apply to you, and you certainly dont need the fiesta loom.

agreed with premium fuels 0 additives required. i exclusively use premium fuels and my engine is probably cleaner inside than a redex additive would get it alone.

optimax? where did you buy that?.. i cant find it anywhere lol and most places which would have it the fuel would probably be stale by now. Shell only sell V-Power now. you shouldnt shove any additives in V-Power, or BP ultimate because it already has them blended in! so they dont do anything.

but its hard to align Xenons in a fixed position, because that doesnt take into account things like going up/down hills and over speed bumps. thats why it has the self levelling system.

bit inconsiderate though to other drivers surely? I mean ive got halogens.. and I seem to get flashed by other drivers main beams all the time coming towards me. what more if i had non levelling xenons, id be completely blinding oncoming traffic. might seem a bit petty but theres a huge difference in light between halogen and xenon... ive had them in my mirrors before late at night on full beam.. and factory fitted and even those blind me. I realy wouldnt want non self levelling xenons in my mirror, likely to create an accident.

lol yep it is toxic. if it kept coming back then you have a possible fault somewhere. need to find out the error code. wouldnt of been his software... only reason it couldnt reset the DPF is because modules like the additive module are outside of the OBDII standard/protocol.. as are airbags, immobilizers.. door modules, ABS etc. OBDII only really covers engine faults mainly, and network communication errors.

what was the error code?.. did he clear it?.. and did it come back again?

even with 10 wires, they wont work. because it just means you have the xenon/adaptive lighting loom in the engine bay. you also need the other half of the loom behind the dash which has the adaptive/xenon headlamp module.. with xenon it controls the levelling.. and with adaptive lighting it controls the left/right movement. no halogen dash loom.. as far as Im aware supports xenon/adaptive. hence why ford list a separate loom that just does xenon/adaptive but not halogen. easy check would be to look for a connector behind the drivers door pillar kick panel in the foot well... because

dont think it would, the weight is mainly central. and other cars have 4WD systems without it causing too many problems in terms of handling, like the golf, and audis.

yea lol. ive found its definitely possible. you will be surprised to know the Kuga floorpan with the propshaft tunnel is the same part as used on the focus.. part numbers are identical. front and rear subframes bolt straight on... and the 4WD transfer box just bolts onto the side of a M66 ST gearbox where the driveshaft normally goes... but if you picked up a scrap Kuga box it would bolt straight onto the 2.0 TDCi engine. its only possible though on the ST, because I have a feeling the spare wheel well would get in the way, hence why on the kuga it has an exhuast system similar to the

lol, definitely.. you will only have that wiring though if you have the xenon / adaptive headlamp wiring. which I dont have:( apparently ford seemed to of cut back on the facelift.. currently got only the halogen loom.. lol new loom is ready and waiting though, just gotta find the time. although you will still have halogen loom behind the dash so you wont be able to retrofit xenon/adaptive lighting without ripping your dash out and shoving in the new loom. wiring inside the car is probably the ST1 loom which did have halogens... lol also explains why some people have the ESP switch wirin

was 05 plate.. havent seen any 54 plate ones, if there are id imagine it was near the end of 54 and very early registered focus.. probably litterally first few off the production line.

if theres 10 wires, theres a good chance your pre-wired for the sensor, just need to look behind your wheel arch liner to confirm.. certainly looks like the xenon/adaptive headlamp engine bay loom.. thats what the spare connector is for... once you remove the wheel arch liner (just held on by a couple of screws) you will know for certain.. seems likely though from the loom fitted, so at the very least (if it was the same pre-facelift) you may only require a short jumper loom.. but you wont know until you get that wheel arch liner out. dunno lol, but they are both based on 1 another. being

yep lol, whatever they have lying around seems to do and its usually pot luck which loom you have...and when I say facelift, I mean 2008 onwards, like mine... information wont 100% appy to you, but instead of giving partial information i put it all in case anybody else searches/wanted to know in future... could you count the amount of wires on that connector?.. I cant clearly see from the image.. looks though like you have the ST loom because you have a titanium.. and ford based the titanium on the ST in terms of wiring... but best bet would be to look behind your wheel arch liner to see what

above i wrote is only what i know about the facelift focus lol. how many wires is there? dont know if im counting 9?.. or 8.. may even be a hidden wire making 10 lol. but that spare connector I think people have said before maybe for adaptive headights/xenon. just noticed you have a titanium.. at that point pre-facelift.. ford was basing them on the ST.. in which case you will probably have the wiring for the sensor.. only way to be sure is to look behind the wheel arch liner, and see what wires you have.. if you have spare wires on the main loom that arent connected to anything or spa

lol dont I know it:P ive got a whole front loom waiting to go in because I didnt have the wiring. on facelift, a usual good way to tell if you have the wiring is if you have 10 wires on the back of the headlamps. if so, you have the Adaptive headlight/ Xenon headlight front loom.. and ford only put the fluid sensor wiring on that loom, because they took the oppinion.. well we only fit headlamp washers on xenon setups, so we only need the washer fluid sensor with xenon headlights(due to the headlamp washers) reason for that is.. with halogens you dont need headlamp washers, its not compus

does yours have DPF? remap you wont get much over 145bhp.. codered I think only gives 148bhp on a dpf.. but without Ben Western is running 170bhp and you can take it right up to 200bhp.. then the injectors and pump max out. thats 1 reason why I havent done the washer fluid sensor yet lol, because if its feasible im looking into shoving the injection system off the new 163ps 2.0 TDCi engine.. because they flow more and have a higher working pressure.

looks good:D what other mods have you got planned? I looked at the Eibach Pros.. but if you have sport pack like us it only drops the car 10mm so i concluded it probably wasnt worth doing.
