  1. Ok spent the evening trying to figure out how to wire up CAN + and CAN - but no luck which was what i was expecting considering I don't have the pin layout for the non quadlock connector. There's no way I could just change the setting to store the date on the stereo itself?
  2. I may be able to help you mate  are your heater controls like this Tezza Yep thats the ones. Do you have some in stock?
  3. The FM stereo works fine. In fact I'm in love with the stereo as a whole. It works really well except for this one problem. I'm going to try and track down some red backlit heater controls next to match this unit.
  4. Didnt wire up the connector??? should be a case of everything is on a plug - no wiring needs to be changed... what was he doing messing with wiring? Ford radio plug matches the plug on the wiring loom. For some reason the Australian ones are different from the normal quadlock ones. So I found a place that changed it over so I could put in my UK bought sony model. No one has a wiring diagram for one of those do they? To answer your question Yorkshirepudding, I have that problem too but I thought fixing the connection would solve it all.
  5. Ok may have found the problem. The guy that changed it over for me didn't wire up CAN- and CAN+ on the quadlock connector. I'm guessing that will do it
  6. Hi all, I recently bought a sony gen2 single cd player off ebay. I've installed it fine into my 2006 CL but there is one problem. The stereo seems to lose some of it's settings when it's off for more than 15 minutes. The clock, EQ and TA settings are all affected by this where abouts the stereo presets are unaffected. Iv'e checked the constant and ignition wires and they are outputting fine. Did I buy a faulty stereo or is there setting I have to change?
