  1. I retrofitted that ashtray to my mk2. I had the power socket in there, so got one of those ashtrays and made a few cuts and placed the socket inside it. To get the ashtray out requires removing your centre console though... IIRC.
  2. Ghia and titanium has cc side strips, boot strip and door handles. Zetec just has cc handles.
  3. Should say in the owners manual.
  4. Just an update, finally finished - Im happy the way that turned out, the lens will need a light sanding down though. Looks much better than the chrome headlights as well.
  5. Bump. I think this thread still applies, mk2 section is a mess.
  6. I think my map only cost £230. Is a 1.8 tdci as well.
  7. Sorry didn't get replying to this sooner, membership expired. I have already split both headlights. One is already painted black, just needs lacquerering and the other is primed. There looking well IMO. The HIDS arrived today as well so I'm going ahead with this mod as planned.
  8. Basically I bought a set of Focus ST chrome headlights. The connector is different as it has 10 wires needed on the connector compared to the 7 my loom has. So it wont work, I have no idea how to fit them. So a friend suggested to buy a HID kit, remove the current lights and ballasts (flog on ebay) and then fit that in the housing. Whilst doing this I'd probably spray the innards black as well. Thoughts/comments on this?
  9. Whats all the mods you've done to your focus now?
  10. I bought the spacers for my rear bumper but the guy who painted it fitted it without them.
  11. Theres quite a few cheap sets emerging on ebay atm, I'd still love the proper set of eibach coilies but there £800+ on ebay and thats just to steep.
  12. By mk2 do you mean the car in your avatar or what really is the mk2? Its very possible to do, I've the full ST body kit on my TDCI. Others have it as well and some have it on there petrols. http://alanewing.co.uk/stfront.jpg
  13. I think ya need a fitting kit, Im not that ICE savvy but thats what I used. Dont think I coulda used the cage that came with the stereo.

  15. It's been a while since I bought them so my ebay account wouldn't show me the exact item but I had a quick search and I think these are the same. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mudflaps-FORD-Fie ... 58834a42de Cheers, bought 2 sets.
  16. I have both in my car. I got the genuine ford carpet ones with the car but they were used. I dont like carpet either, it gets dirty and is harder to clean. Got the genuine rubber mats on top of the carpet ones, give it a blast with the power washer and it looks like new.
  17. Sorta going off topic here but have you had any trouble with your pioneer and signal?
  18. Slightly better quality, excuse the poor background. http://deadmanscurse.250free.com/foci1.jpg http://deadmanscurse.250free.com/foci2.jpg :D
  19. Why do you all go the bother and expense of fitting the bluetooth when you could get a new HU with better sound quality and bluetooth built in for the same amount of money?
