id rather not have it done by them again to be honest id rather have 40 quid back ( i had a 20quid voucher so it was 140 instead of 160) and never see them again

Cheers gor the suggestion Gaz trouble is the oil filters are not canister ones sadly they are paper filters and pretty difficult to get to :( any suggestions on how to handle getting some money back

hopefully 2009 will be a better year for my *new* MK2 first of all it took 3 attempts by 3 seperate ford dealers to fix a leak into the boot :roll: the car now rattles a lot because of all the internal panels they have removed and im not sure how easy its going to be to get ford to fix this. the cars first service was poor in my humble opinion, im partly to blame for not shopping round but anyhow here goes i bought my car from Polar Ford in castleford west yorkshire, since i got it christmas 2007 it made sense that while im home for christmas 2008 to get it serviced then rather than at the

Hi Guys just renewed my membership 12 more month of wonderful me sorry :wink: :lol: i post this in the MK2 section as i need to hear from MK2 owners as it seems specific to this model i have a late 2007 model (built nov/dec prolly) 3 door zetec climate and i think there is a problem with the locking from inside the car. on my old MK1 Zetec 3door if a passenger went to lock their door from the inside it would engage the drivers lock and the boot, (thats central locking as i understand) now on my MK2 ford focus that doesnt happen and i suspect a fault, if a passenger goes to lock their

what absolute amount of wiffle! they should damn well replace the carpet because it was damaged as a result of a manufacturing fault! if there had been no fault there would be no damage! tell them to stop * * * * footing around and accept it is FORDS fault! failing that torch the managers car :lol:

i would push hard for it to be covered mate, i had a boot leak looked at 3 times before it was fixed and it was a manufacturing fault, even if it had only been identified next year it still would have been there fault. i feel fords line on water leaks is pathetic imho it should cover the rest of the car for 3 years, obviously you cant cover bulbs and brakes but leaks come on!

is this the more rounded one mate? i have the second Gen sony MP3 unit in mine and it just has the suitably cut dash panel, if you have a square outlet i think you just need a facia adapter

i ordered my 2007 focus in october last year and was told it would be november before they started building it mate, i got it 2 weeks before xmas so it maybe a long wait... i hope not :(

are you certain seb? i dont recall the manual mentioning that the 6cd 2nd gen could play mp3s. i cant get to my book at the minute, humble apologies if im at error :D
