Disconnect the battery and lock the doors manually maybe? This will reset the ECU too so anything dodgy may be sorted out.

My 2005 MK2 sounds quite rattly too, with a definite tappety noise when its under light load at about 2000-3000 rpm. It sounds fvcked tbh but im not worried lol if it goes pop ill stick an RS lump in its wake haha

That doesnt however mean its going to be abused and draped in tack from halfords! As you can see it's been tastefully modified already :)

Oh yeah I know about braking and handling in little cars with big engines lol Ive done 2 engine conversions before with help. I did a 1.6 gti engine in a K reg 1.4 xt Peugeot 106 and helped my mate with his calibra turbo engined corsa B 8) Ive got the general Idea of what I want but like I said im not massively knowledgeable on ford engines. Do ford do any fairly recent 4 cylinder petrol turbo engines?

Sucking IN the exhaust? It would be blowing out if anything dude. You sure its not the inlet manifold sucking air? That could be your power loss. Just keep a close eye on all your levels but im guessin its just the snow playing with your mind lol take the advice of a mechanic, dont worry, until it breaks... lol

I would of thought it would have it on yours. Take it back to the dealers and ask them if they can fit one for free because you thought it came with one! lol You never know till you ask! lol

Stuff that, I've put 6000K ones in my standard headlights and all you need to do is get the levels set right by a garage. Make sure the leveler is on zero first though. Otherwise when you do put it on zero, it raises the beams to illegal levels as you probably know. Most of the time I drive around with it set on number 2. Because I have had one or 2 cars flash me even with it correctly set to zero. ;)
