i would ask the dealer - even though there is no fault code - it does sound like a faulty part. See if you can have ago in another Cmax at the dealership with the same parking sensors and i'm pretty certain that it wont happen. From there you will have a strong stepping point to making them change the sensors :)

have you polished the car? Sometimes the polish can block the sensors and make the malfuction :)

also i think the mods need to move this to a different section :D Need to know what Russ77, says :D

great car the tdv6 - parents have one and i drove it to skiing - wicked off road! your still in the ford pen! :wink:

got to admit the whizzpopper does have the edge on the boy racer looks - looks much more agressive - but aslong as you dont part the st focus next to a vxrt there wont be a problem...and besites the vxr has a body kit doesnt it? the st from ford doesnt really - well its pretty pathetic! Time for some REALLY tough looking st s! :D

My worry is as I am not too keen on the new ST, i might be tempted to getting fiesta ST insted...but it doesn't have the class - maybe an older RS or definatly an orginal ST - this is in a few years mind! :lol:

bear in mind the s40 t5 and the new st are going to be almost exactly the same car - just different bodies cause of the platform sharing - so if its the same price it will be the should be about the same group :mrgreen:

my dad is thinking of putting down an order for one (didnt take him long to get bored with the 1.6) and he loves the looks of the new one! Hes getting all the information together and wondering what colour he should get it in! (i surgested he should put the order down down to see if he could get one of the orange ones - but as hes a lawyer in london, it has to look vagly sensible, maybe blue, or silver! :mrgreen:

man they are good looking cars - now i have an orginal im liking the new one more and mroe - oh well - i just couldnt afford it! :D Lovely car!
