  1. I used a hand pump between the fuel filter and the fuel pump to prime it through and it worked fine. If you disconnect the fuel line at the fuel pump and then suck it through the clear pipe until no bubbles are present then connect the line back up to the fuel pump it should start straight away. I had a nightmare with this the first time I did it. Simon
  2. bhalay207, glad you got it done mate! Looks like they were trying to pull a fast one on you but didn't win! 8)
  3. I'm not sure, I had it done at work so didn't see the process unfortunatly. I guess that bhalay207, is right. It probably was cloned.
  4. I've got a MK2 '06 plate ghia, came with 3 button remote and standard key but not flip. Got a local mobile key cutter to do my flip key for me, £50 for the key cutting and coding.
  5. themexicanjonny, if your in the middle of the project I wouldn't mind seeing if you wanna sell it, PM me, got any pics? Simon
  6. I had thought about this but was unable to get hold of a gauge pod to measure if a mechanical gauge would fit. MC-Junior, you could get them from halfords or eBay etc, they're called turbo boost gauge, or oil pressure gauge for cars, think theyre 52mm iirc, unsure if they do smaller ones?
  7. The Ipswich dealership are good, I go in alot to get parts from them and their service dept is good too. Simon
  8. You might have a few problems with high speed bumps and possibly if you drop off a kerb but other than that I can't see any.
  9. I've been to that guy and bought a set of cream leathers for My Mk2. That ST kit looked mint when I went there aswell!
  10. Hi Martin, sounds like you like the Foci :) I'll try to help: 1. If you have an ST kit on the car I don't think the flaps will fit due to the side skirts and the back bumper being different from standard, not sure if Ford's do ST ones though. 2. Standard Zetec's don't have Eibachs, only as an option from new. 3. Whiteline do ARB's for the Focus Mk2 and are very good from what I've read, I had the Eibach ARB kit on my old focus and that was great for handling so should be better on the MK2. 4. The ST brakes are about 20mm bigger I believe, you'd need new discs, calipers & carrie
  11. I agree they are very different to the Mk1 seats, it took me ages to get my seat just right, does yours have a "fixed" lumbar support in the passenger seat? I've got the velour cloth seats.
  12. Hi Peter, Thanks for that, to be honest I havn't checked it but will tonight to see if it goes out. Do you know of a reason why Ford would have it stay on for so long? Simon
  13. Hi, I've noticed that my trip computer display stays on all the time with the green light at night. Is this normal or is something wrong that can be fixed? Car is a Mk2 2.0TDCI. I've checked fuses and none are blown. Any advice? Thanks Simon
  14. I think it was more luck for me, only looked at the titanium somewhere else in the morning, then was going to look at another one somewhere else in the afternoon and found the Ghia instead! :) , eBay has some good ones alot of the time.
  15. My ghia 2.0 TDCI has: Xenons 16" Alloys Velour Seats Dual Climate Control with cooled glovebox Cruise Control Auto Wipers/Lights 6 Disc CD One Touch Windows Armrest & more I did look at a titanium before I bought it but apar from the sony stereo & non wood trim there wasn't any difference. If you are going for th 2.0TDCI try and get one without the DPF too!
