  1. My old Focus had that too. It is a cool feature. This new one also has the same thing for opening the windows too I think - which the old one didn't!
  2. I tried it again just after I posted back, and there are three distinctly different sounds. First one is the lock. Second one is the deadlock, and the third and subsequent ones is the re-deadlock. So second and third does sound different. But third, fourth, fifth etc are all the same. Anyway, like you say, it's obviously just trying to deadlock again, but the noise is different where the locking mechanism grinder shears a bit more off of the locking roads etc!
  3. Thanks ... AGAIN! :D :D I was just worried that I was taking the deadlock (or worse, any lock) off with the third click. Now I can chill and just do exactly what I did with my 2000 Focus - which is two clicks.
  4. It goes off as soon as I start the engine - but stays on until that time.
  5. In the manual, it says that this will illuminate orange when it's +1 to +4 degrees C. And red below +1 degrees C. But when I switch on the ignition, it comes on (red or orange - can't remember which), then after 2 seconds or so, there is the click of a relay and it changes to the other colour. What's that showing me? Cheers JW
  6. What does the third click on the key remote do when locking the doors. I know that the first is the normal lock. The second is the dead-lock. But what is the third? I couldn't find it in the owners manual. I'm assuming it might be something like deadlock but leave ultrasonic sensors off?
