  1. Thanks for getting back, I'm not sure if my design is different to other models but there aren't any screws that I can see in my light housing. Even the lens, prises open from the front. mr rugby
  2. Hi Gang, cmax 2009 titanium. I want to remove the complete overhead console for access so that I can fit an lcd parking assist screen behind the flap where the dome rear mirror lives. Other projects seem to show these already dropped. I tried tugging at this surround today without success. I also tried to drop the submarine fitting. It unclipped and dropped about half/inch all the way around but jams up after this. How do I, 1/ drop the whole overhead fitting 2/ Or drop the submarine light housing. Are there any screws hidden or is everything clipped. Cheers gang mr rugby
  3. My experience during the snow /ice has been this. 2009-C-MAX 1.8 tdci 18" alloys, low profile tyres, ABS,stability etc etc ....result.........useless Compared to, 1999 1.4 polo auto 155 / 13" tyres no stability electronics...result..awesome One morning I had to return home in the c max and take the polo instead. Work that one out. mr rugby
  4. c.max 1.8tdci titanium..18 inch alloys. Does anyone get this weird feeling through the steering wheel almost as if each front wheel is running in it's own track. Never felt this on other power steering cars I have had. It's the same feeling you get when just one wheel runs over a patch of ice and wants to do it's own thing. cheers mr rugby
  5. Is there a way to balance the volume between different inputs. My radio plays louder than my cd player which in turn is louder than my sat nav. cheers mr rugby
  6. Hi All, Sleepness nights are upon me. The last couple of nights (since i thoroughly cleaned the car) have resulted in my alarm going off once in the early hours of the morning (3/4 am). Doesn't seem to go off in the day just the night. Once reset it doesn't go off again during the night. Windows and doors are shut, Any ideas from anyone ? Cheers, mr rugby
  7. I have it on my c-max titanium. It's ok the voice is a bit abrupt, the main direction arrows also appear on the red dashboard display. It works, but give me tom tom any day. You can have a map display (congested) or just direction arrows. Maps are on sd card. The voice control is clever but is problomatical. The system doesn't always obey commands. My wife has to speak with a deeper voice for it to work for her. It's quite funny. The bluetooth works fine. mr rugby
  8. I have a strange problem. 2009 c-max 1.8tdci titanium with coms pack sat nav/single cd. Intermittantly, when using voice control to operate cd player/radio etc, the female voice, prompts and repeats my commands but often will not carry out the final instruction, such as to play "track 3" or the radio frequency required. 8 times out of 10 the system behaves the remainder it will be stubborn. Now before anyone says she has not understood my voice........then why does she correctly repeat what I have said,........ she just doesn't do it. She completes each stage expect the last final command
