  1. Thanks for the reply....tyres are fine...wear wise nice and even Are they prone for wheel bearings the focus models?
  2. Can anybody tell me will the rear wheel bearing for a mk2 be the same as for a mk2.5-(08plate) focus, Mines going and only done 24k,i know its warrenty but i dont get on with my dealer and have as little as possible todo with them,so after replacing myself, easy enough to change... on fleabay i see them on there for the mk2...my concerns are over my mk2.5 haveing esp and the such,so dont know if theres anything else but the abs plug or weather its all in house so to speak...basically dont wont to get the wrong one and quite a differance in price FORD=£130+VAT EBAY=£60-70
  3. Is there a 'how to' on the mk2.5 egr for a 1.8tdci? any links
  4. I'll search the 'how to' Thanks again for the switch, just gotta find the multiplug for it
  5. Went out for a run today, nothing major just country roads but again i noticed a problem, When your doing 55-60 in 5th gear and lightly touch the throttle i felt the car judder backwards and forwards,it clears and alls well, No smoke or anything like that out the exhaust, Had the car 3 weeks come tuesday and it did the same last week when i went on a 300 mile round trip, Not every time it does it..once whilst your out but still it shouldnt do it MPG's good 50.9 so dont rearly know and no lights on the dash, Anybody had this before,cars--- 1.8tdci zetec mk2.5 08 plate only done 20,
  6. Today i fitted front/rear mud flaps to mine, Also the chrome sill covers, looks very nice Pricey mind you, there are cheaper versions on ebay but i went with the gen ford stainless steel ones cost me £53+vat but to me its worth it.
  7. When i was here last year the issue with them losing power...both cars had the same issues, Just want a reliable motor to be honest that will last me a couple of years, steady runs to germany so after having the all singing and dancing titaniums the first which was fully loaded...loved it but no good if it keeps losing power....we decided on a 15mth old motor which has plenty of warrenty and allthough older engine its still going strong now so thats what we went with.
  8. UPDATE.... Apparently 2 glow plugs are not working which caused the wire to overheat so ford say, Ordering new glow plugs and relay...under warrenty
  9. Decided to come back to ford after 1 year, after my last focus's gave me nothing but trouble(2x07 plate 2.0tdci engines)i slid over to the dark side(the griffin) Anyway decided on an 08 plate 1.8tdci zetec focus, pritty chuffed and looking forward to getting it My question is...were getting there, pointed out to me that the wire which comes from the glow plugs...as your looking at the end of the engine and goes to earth best i can describe it started smoldering and the outer plastic cover has begum melting, went into fords today to be reapired under warrenty, buying the focus from an audi deale
