    "So Kirby, why didn't you buy the VXR then?" Several reasons including the fact that driving in the VXR grabs you by the scruff of the neck and throws you down the road. All the time. The Megane 225 and CTR are similar in this respect. Sometimes I want to drive sedately, sometimes I want to give it Johnny Large Potatos. The VXR, M225 & CTR want to be DRIVEN all the time whereas the ST & GTI have a better blend of Jekyll & Hyde. An interesting read of how you expect the VXR to be. I guess its based on some of the magazine write up? Im fast closing in on 40 and probably 80%

    Well whizzpopper confirmed all orders placed before last week should be delivered by the end of year and they are now giving Climate and Cruise for free. Ive got my VXR now with Metalic, Climate and Cruise for £17,250 - but it looks like I can get a similar ST for the same money Decisions Decisons!! Jonathan

    Golf went a month ago and I'm driving round in an Ebay shed. Inchscape are offering over £1k off the car already as mentioned in this and the other thread. The wait for the ST and VXR look to be approx the same. Jonathan

    Technically every four months I guess :D, which is about how long I keep most cars, although the MKV GTI was with me for 7 months which shows how good it is. Had most of the rest already apart from a Focus RS :lol: Jonathan

    Thats who my VXR is on order through. Best price I could find. Really Autobytel are a dealer using another name on the web. Part of Inchscape, they are one of the largest dealer networks in the UK. They have been good with the VXR order, its not their problem that whizzpopper is having quality problems.

    Ive just come out of a MKV Golf GTI and have a VXR on order due to the intended launch date. Seems whizzpopper have a few problems with the car and the end of this year/early next is now a distinct possibility. Due to this I am comptemplating the Focus ST. One of my main concerns is how much I'll have to pay. Whilst its a good price, are people getting large discounts off list? What should I be paying? Any recomendations ? Cheers Jonathan
