you are not alone with the clutch burning i has also had this on a hill start it just about gets up a hill at the best of times. take it in and get the ecu updated to UHDCAJ7 this is the new software for the 1.8 petrol engine it has made my car a dream to drive fuel economy has gone up about 20% and it now pulls away fast and true. dont let them fob you off get the ecu software done asap i think it will make a lot of difference.

hi disney first i went down to i.c.e shops to ask about screens dvd player price ect ect and think that they are a rip off some only offer a certain screen dvd player. when i said i wanted 2 c.k.o 6.5in screens sony dvd player 2 infrared headphones ect i was quoted between £1300 to £1795 :shock: it will cost them about £300 max for the dvd screens headphones the rest is profit for about a hours work p*ss takers. so i had a :idea: went on the net 2 screens £150 each, sony dvd player brand new ebay £50, 2 alpine infrared headphones used £10 ebay :lol: you go into these places and hav

hi ffcfocus nice to hear from somebody that has had the same result as me regarding the petrol engine ecu upgrade. when i first got my car 8 months ago i did think it was very sluggish at pulling away from the lights and pulling out of turnings and things alike but did not no better. then finding this forum i have learnt that the c max suffers from this and there is a fix for it ie ecu software update i think ford have got a lot to answer for as the people who dont use this forum will never no about these fixes and so will go on getting crap mpg sluggish

the ecu is for the engine software the other you are talking about is the fix for the instrument cluster the new rom level is 0424. the ecu update on my petrol engine is uhdcaj7 its made my car feel like a new car :D if you have not had a update petrol or diesel get it done now i have looked at other posts and they all say the same. you say your software still says 0422 well when i took my car in they said that they had done the update but it stills says 0422 asked them about this and they said that they had done it asked for it to be done again they did this then they said my car was not up

i have just got this its one off them funky dab digital radios cars all the rage in japan it runs on hamster power no joke this is true it runs around on wheels inside the car no word yet on wheather the hamster runs on unleaded or diesel yet

its not dab its freeview he gets all the free to air channels plus some extra ones what im not allowed to say sorry :oops:

my little girl was 4 when i got them i slid down to her height in the seat to test what her viewing angle was like and yes there was a little distortion in pq but i changed the seat height and angle and was ok a cushion can help as well. she now is fine when viewing.

with your camel leather the sony screens would have been perfect but as i found out the hard on your pocket way they are 2cm to big at the top of the headrest.

no the pictures make them look like there on a worse angle than they are. picture 7 shows you that they are pretty upright. if you sit in the back they are perfect if you slip down in the seat the res goes down a little but not nothing to worry about but you must get good screens not cheap crap from ebay saying high res 334456 million pixels xga from hong kong. some screens tilt in the bezel for better viewing angles but i have had no trouble with a mate, my 10 year old and 5 year old kids watching in the back all getting the same good viewing angle.
