Got mine sorted at the main dealer. They just use some sort of glue, but by going to the dealer you can't affect your warranty

Have noticed on occasion that my focus takes about 5 seconds of turning to start. Usually OK but just every now and then it's slow to start. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, or how to cure it?

Hadn't noticed it when I had the original radio installed, but am noticing it now. Have installed a Kenwood radio with mp3 player. Have noticed that when on long journeys the disc gets very hot, and starts skipping. It seems to be damaging the cd-r discs. Is there anything can be done about this?

Just finished installing a Kenwood W4531 system, with an aux input cable in the storage behind the gear lever. Also installed parrot bluetooth phone kit. If anyone's intersted in pictures PM me your e-mail address.

Sorry, I know this has probably been asked already, but can't find it. I want to remove the 6000CD head unit, without the hassle of having to travel to the ford dealer. Can this be done without buying the special tools?

As far as I know it's not a Sony unit. I used to have a Sony CD changer, but was told I needed a special adaptor as well as a new CD changer to use it! Will let you know if I get any more info.

I have a Focus Zetec with the 6000CD radio (no aux input in glovebox). Has anyone had any luck connecting an mp3 player to one of these? I've heard the radio transmitters aren't much good. Is there anywhere these can connect to the rear of the radio? My radio has a CDDJ button which does nothing - can this be used to select an mp£ unit?
