  1. Did you order the S-Max. We have one and its top notch.
  2. Interior & exterior pics here http://www.fordeurope.net/forum/viewtop ... c&start=50 doesn't look 100% new to me. The interior is horrible with the new Sony stereo plonked into the old dash.
  3. Where are you - I know of a nice 1.6 loaded ghia thats for sale
  4. I thought that this was a recall on the earlier cars to have a new switch fitted. If it was its a little concernng that new models are still having problems.
  5. I thought you could get a full Ipod installation for the 6000 cd (centre volume knob) which charges it and allows you to control it from the stalk ??? http://www.focusowners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20412
  6. Our dealer didn't change the brake fluid until the 3 rd service. Big difference in braking after. He also forgot to check the rear pads on the second service. New discs and pads a fortnight later
  7. I am determined to get an Ipod connection instead of a changer so is the 6000 radio mentioned above the one with central knob ?
  8. I have just had a hands free kit fitted and the installer reckons my headunit is a quadlock / can bus connection. He says that its already wired for a cd changer but you could fit an Ipod interface. Whats he on about quadlock can bus - (I understand quad bike, cans, cancan or buses but ?????)? Where would the changer be and would the wiring be ready to plug a changer in ? if the wires are there what could I plug into it to get an Ipod type device working (Cheaply) Any advice would be most welcome Thanks Pooh (I.C.E. illiterate)
  9. If its the 7500 system (roof mounted) I think it also has sockets to plug in 2 wired sets - but I dont know if that then deactivates the wireless. The headphones we have are infra red. hope that helps.
  10. Slightly off topic but my new S-Max has a sticker inside the fuekl flap saying Ford recommends BP ultimate " However when we insured our car through Ford insure one of their promotions was £50 worth of Fuel vouchers for ...... youv'e guessed it .......Shell !
  11. Stick your hand into the gap between the base and the seat back and at the edge of the seat you should feel a horizontal bar each side. the plastic guides just clip over the bar holding the cloth out of the way. Extra guides cost us about £5 for our Britax car seat so £15 for 30 seconds work per seat is bonkers. Don't forget to check if the seat needs a top tether - our Britax one did
  12. What don't i like about the C-Max ? That I'm driving it and my wife's driving our new S-Max
  13. Ours with EPB had the pads and the discs replaced at 25k.....The garage foget to check them at the service and 2 weeks later we had the worn out pads pads replaced but they had wrecked the discs
  14. Mothercare do a "neatseat" which is a thick rubber protector
