Pioneer Speakers Upgrade in Focus Catalogue
Warwickshire Lad replied to Yaumeister's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
I'd like to know about this as well. The catalogue also has a discreet subwoofer with inbuilt amp as well which can apparently be mounted underneath the passenger's seat. I've recently had a Pioneer head unit installed so I wonder if this package would be worth doing over the standard ST-2 system. -

Was no one up for the Code:red?
Warwickshire Lad replied to Ronnie's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
tompeters, if I remember your car is pretty new so the engine must still be in the process of being broken in - I'm not an expert but maybe that's a factor to influence these variables too... :?: -

Sounds good, what sort of MPG improvement are you getting, and do you have a BHP figure as well ? -

Car Service Is it Worth It
Warwickshire Lad replied to vantheman1blue's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Get it serviced at an independent garage and tell them to use Genuine Ford Parts. That should keep your warranty in tact. -
1st thing to break on my new car
Warwickshire Lad replied to seank_uk's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
You can't really fit much in that top compartment. All I've got in there is my mobile phone charger cable and handsfree kit. The compartment needs to be deeper to be genuinely useful but maybe there wasn't room in the design. In addition I also find there to be hardly any room inside the rather naff plastic armrest. -
Awesome!!

Hi tompeters, I hope you can sort your technical problem out. Would be interested to know the real-world result so keep us posted. -
Not convinced - if Ford wants to bring out a Coupe then they should revive the Puma.

Focus CC Fog Lamp Covers
Warwickshire Lad replied to stuarty500's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Yep, the FINIS number is 1499435. Be warned when you come to order it though - it's improbably expensive for what it actually is! I have now received mine, and have tried to fit it, but unfortunately I've been unable to work out exactly how! There appears to be no obvious way to actually remove the lower grille to attach the surround. -

Update: exciting news my lower grille has arrived and is on its way to me, hopefully tomorrow. Will post up a new pic when done! -
Focus CC Fog Lamp Covers

stuarty500 - haven't got a postcard, but I have got a picture to show that it is possible :- Your local Ford dealer should be able to supply you with : 1457222 @ £23.69 RH fog surround 1457223 @ £23.69 LH fog surround 1457219 @ £23.69 RH fog bezel 1457221 @ £23.69 LH fog bezel As you can see it's not cheap  but judge for yourself. Actually I have a tip - the "fog bezels" are merely just exactly the same as the current fog bezel on your car - the only difference being a few slim holes where the chrome fog surround fits in. If you want to save cash, order the surround -

I agree I've been to Profile's workshop in Stockport and seen their stuff first hand, it's very good.
