Just a quick question, might just turn out to be nothing, but i've noticed. When i lock the car, on the dash where you have the screen where it displays the milage, milage left in the tnak etc, it always seems to stay backlite for about 20-25 minutes. I'm wondering is it common for this to stay light for such a long time? does any else's stay light for a while or does it go out as soon as you've locked it? any help much apprechiated Steve

Just bought a Zetec Climate 1.6 a few weeks back. Everything fine until the really cold wether sets in ... car stood on drive over night - come to start it on a morning, turn key, starter motor turning, but car not starting, release key, start again, usually starts 2nd or 3rd time. car only 10 months old ... am wondering if this means something bigger, battery on way out, loose connection or some other engine problem. Also happens in cold wether when it's been stood at work in car park for about 8 hours a day. It only seems to happen from temperature is between 1 degree's and minus 4 won

Whats the engine like on these? Are they decent in terms of performance dont get me wrong i aint expecting it to be * * * * off a shovel but just in general

Just need something which is a bt more practical. Hi All, Focus newbie here!! :D I currently drive a Audi TT Quatro 1.8 225 PS and it's time for change. I'm looking at the new Focus Zetec 1.8 TDCi. (Brand new) Has anyone ever / or can anyone tell me, is their any common fauts / foes or problems with the new Focus's that I should be aware of before signing for one? Don't get me wrong I know every car may have it's own faults, but is there any that are specific to the focus. I have heard that they don't like starting in cold wether, is their any truth to this?
