Got mine in Jan - I will keep it for 2 years I reakon. I do alot of miles and do not plan to keep it much longer than that. :D

IMHO I will have to agee with thirsty, Meguiars Deep Crystal 3 step system, did my ST2 for the first time yesterday...very happy with the results although it does take a fair bit of time...but good things come to those who wait and all that.... :D

No prize sorry!!!! :D and yes I am getting better fuel con. than you around 27MPG, bet not many people on here can say they get worse fuel con. than an ST hey!!! :lol: 25 is pretty bad for a 1.6!

Finally decided to stop driving my Sea Grey ST2 which I have had for over 2months now and take some pics this afternoon...washed him this morning then out for a blast this afternoon..here are a small selection of the pics I took...enjoy :D

No the way I understand it is that the recaro seat pack 1 on the ST2 is just the conversion of the rear 60:40 rear seat into a 2 seat sculptured recaro style bench making it a 4 seater. You also get 8 way adjustment on the passenger front seat. No Leather and no heating...these are different options again and it is cheaper to get an ST3 than an ST2 with Leather. Hope this helps :D

No I don`t think so, my ST2 does not. I think it has became an option for Jan 06 builds onwards.

fellows. I think the two buttons on the outside of the console are for the heated seats, which come with the leather on the ST3.

Glad I got mine when I did!!! I would have been gutted if I had to wait any longer than I did!!!! Looks like going to the Stealer and paying list price was a good option after all.

Very good review, one minor point they raise (excuse the pun) is the height of seating position, which i would have to agree with them is a tad high. On a side note the mags pics of the Orange bumper match looks terrible...and thats a Ford press car!!!! not even my Sea Grey ST2 is that bad!!!

Jim@FordSToc.com, Overall very impressed with the ST. Have owned a string of Mini Cooper S`s but decided that space was important aswell as performance/handling etc. for my next car..hence the ST. Although I took a gamble by ordering it back in Oct without test driving one. Glad I did now! I do alot of motorway miles, and the beauty of the ST is that you can pop it into 6th gear and cruise along like any other car, but if you want to have fun, its only a case of planting the right foot....the in gear acceleration is awesome, and the engine noise is bang on reminds me of the old Audi quattro

Picked him up afew weeks ago and only just had time to sort out getting some pics up for you all too see. (Been out driving too much!!!) :lol: Car is awesome, what more can be said...800 miles so far and enjoyed every minute!!! Photos are not great...sorry, and the location not glamorous, will try and get some better ones over the weekend. SUGG ST :lol: P.S. Bumper colour match is fine in real life - why does the camera make the bumpers mis-match!!!???!!

smjohns - No premium velour mats in my ST2. I ordered the ST sports mats for £50. They are on back order so the dealer has chucked in a set of rubber ones which I can keep, until the ST ones come in.

smjohns, I went for the all grey seats, as I was not sure of the red. The grey looks great imo, and because the accent grey is actually lighter than the centre, if anything it lightens up the look of the seat. Not got any photos of the interior yet, otherwise I would PM them to you. SUGG

My ST2 has NO footwell lights and NO vanity mirror lights, but mine has the spare tyre in the boot as it was an early Dec build....guess the guys on the production line fit what the hell thay want!!!!....shall I give this one footwell lights...hmmm..nahh ,maybe I will put them on the next one!!!..next!

Right, just been down to the car, No Vanity mirrors lights and no footwell lights, only the roof mounted one in the centre. But this may all change on cars in production now.....much like the spare wheel/tyre weld change over in late Dec production (mine has the tyre as it was an early Dec build) smjohn - I have a 3Dr ST2 in Sea Grey. Defo NOT got vanity mirror lights as that was one of the missus first comments!! Will check for footwell lights and get back, but I think mine only has the roof mounted high level interior light with the submarine lighting panel. As for photos, got afew I`ve taken but new to all this - how do I get them posted up?
