  1. Yes I've had the same problem, I was driving home one night and heard a loud pop, lost power and excessive noise. I initially thought my exhaust had blown. When I got home I opened my bonnet and was surprised to find that one of my spark plugs had blown apart. It had corroded the metal part that badly that the porcelain part had popped out. When I removed the leads from the remaining plugs you could see that they were sitting in about an inch of water! I called the AA, he told me it wasn't the first time he had come across this, it's due to rain water dripping from where the washer jets are,
